Summary: "The Book of Supplemental Secrets"
For years, I have relied on hearsay and read a couple articles here and there, but not enough to truly be educated. Like most people, I want the easy way, but patience and knowledge is key.
It wasn't till I read author Tim Mielke's book that I realized, I really didn't know what have I been taking. The marketing guru's got me! Mr. Mielke's book covers topics such as reading labels, marketing tricks, vitamins & minerals, fat loss, protein, and so on. This book has been helped me make better decisions while grocery and supplement shopping instead of picking what I have heard a million times on T.V. There are so many fad diets out there, many of which I have done, and many which help aid in weight loss, but gain it back again and sometimes with more weight attached. As an ex-bulimarexic I am learning that the way you treat your body catches up to you and I'm not getting any younger. Mr. Mielke covers supplements that help your metabolism and metabolize fat which is huge for me and many other supplements, such as glutamine, arginine, chitosan etc. These terms may mean nothing to you now, but it's in plain English for you to understand in this book. I don't need another book to understand this one. This book gets to the point and covers quality information. I recommend this book to anyone looking to get "educated" as Mr. Mielke states in his book. I'm definitely no expert and I'm eager to learn as many of you are, so start here, with a book that gives you the tools you need to be successful in a healthier more fit lifestyle. This book has made me excited to continue building on my basic knowledge and I guarantee you will too.

Summary: "NO BS Supplement Guide gets straight to the point"
Ifound this book accidently on Amazon. It caught my eye when I seen the words (Supplements)and(Secrets)in the title. I have been in the health and fitness industry for over 15 yrs and I know how confusing Sports Nutrition and Supplements can be. So when I started looking through a few pages on Amazon I thought to myself this would be a great book to give to my Clients and also for myself to keep on hand for quick and easy reference. (I forget stuff easy if it's not in front of me all the time so this book helps me out quite a bit) This book is very well written and even easier to read. It gets straight to the point with no BS. The author defiantly knows his Supplements and has done his research. I truly recommend this book for the novice supplement user right up to the advance fitness buff. This book is well worth the price and is very much worth the time to read.

Summary: "Must Read-Gives You the Real Scoop on Supplements and Nutrition"
Coming from a person who knows a lot about the basics and then some, I felt like after reading this book (which I have to say was very easy to read and follow along)I felt like that gray area of nutrition and supplements was cleared up. I mean sure there are quite a few things you are supposed to eat and as an example lots of us have a pretty good idea why you are supposed to eat protein to build muscle but did you know the different types and grades of protein and how that can affect your progress. That is just a tid bit of great info that is in this book. Also the supplement industry is of course loaded with all kinds of supplements with incredibly catchy marketing lines. So in other words it's not hard to want to buy everything. This book plain and simple clears up any confusion about what certain supplements really do for you. Definitely a way to get the most for your money and reach your goals a lot quicker. When setting your fitness goals don't forget to read this book first!!
